On Monday, former assembly speaker Shiv Chandra Jha lost his life after fighting from his injuries at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Jha was hit by a motorcycle outside his home in Bhagalpur. The hit by motorcycle had caused severe injuries in his head and back.

The Bihar Chamber of Commerce or BCC has lauded the Nitish's government performance since it came into power in 2005. "There are many critical decision he (Nitish Ji) has taken to revive the industry in Bihar", said Mr. O.P.Sah, the BCC president. He said that trade and industry has made rapid strides as it witnessed sea change during the last three year. No one talk of caste and creed now, It is the development issues which everyone is talking in bihar. "In three years we have come a long way where people who were made usual to oiling of lathi by leaders are now proudly talking of development", said chief minister Nitish kumar on the eve of his government completing 3 years in rule. He proudly says that they have set the agenda of development in Bihar. He was talking to media in Patna on Sunday. Back into the memory lane he remarks that it was the time of Jungle Raj when he came into power. People had a lot of expectation but the entire system from bureucracy to police were ruined. We had to first work over the infrastructural necessity to run a democratic government. People had lost confidence over police and the system. But thanks to the support of people that we could change the the agenda from lathi to development.

Admission Racket In Patna University
Although the suspension of BBA course coordinator of P C Verma on friday would definately not ease the difficulties being face by the candidates who took admission in the BBA course of PU at Patna College. The biggest ever admission racket in the history of states premier university, Patna University get a blot on its credibility. The university VC Shyam Lal has also transferred Patna college principal Ran Vijay kumar to history department with immediate effect. All other staffs of BBA course have also been removed.
