Politics On Resignation
Updated on 11 November, 2008
Laloo called Nitish as Kurshi Chipku who is in too much love with his chair. Interestingly Laloo has ruled the state for 15 years directly as well as indirectly with a proxy govt led by his wife Rabri Devi. After the resignation of 5 JD(U) MPs Laloo is challenging Nitish to step down and he will also step down from Union cabinet. Laloo was insisting on the idea of resignation of all MPs and legislators from Bihar as the centre could not survive without us. On his idea Nitish had said this would lead to constitutional crisis in the state and would result in imposition of president’s rule in Bihar. Reacting on Nitish Laloo had proposed another solution to let Nitish step down from his chair in Bihar and Laloo to step down from railway ministry. Insisting on his own idea Laloo is challenging Nitish to step down obviously for taking mere political gain on Maharashtra issue.
