A special operation for evacuating the people trapped in flood waters, too, have been launched. Disaster management department additional commissioner Pratyaya Amrit were quite busy in his office revieving situation, monitoring relief works.The Chief minister appealed to the NGOs and self helf groups and other social organisation to come forward to sake of there brethren. He asked for help from institution and industries here. Talking to media, he said that it is not possible to any govt. to fight alone with such grave situation, we are alert and ready, relief work is going on at war-foot, and we want your participation. Media were also appealed for better coverage of flooded areas and to inform the authorities if there are any areas left abandoned
