Updated on 17 August, 2008
Moreover the early arrival of monsoon and heavy rainfall during the last couple of months has severely hit the road works. The waterlogging on most of the roads in Patna has crushed the pitch of the road and one can witness potholes at every foot of the roads, may it be roads of residential colonies or be it lifeline of the city like Nala Road, Arya Kumar Road, Kankarbagh main road, Exhibition road, Gandhi Maidan, Fraser Road and New Dakbunglow road. The Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam, which took the task of making city roads too after suspension of Tantia from the work, has submit a report to the government in this regard and expects the road works to get completed only at the end of 2009 or by march 2010. Knowingly early it was expected that all roads will be constructed by the end of 2008.
