Police Needs Improvement, Cm Admits

Police is to protect people and not to protect criminals. Several complaints revealed that police is protecting the criminals and not the people as if they are working for criminals and culprits.Police is also accused for not registering FIR. A woman accused DSP and police station in-charge or rape attempt while she went there to lodge a complaint. This was the most shocking incident.After hearing the complaints, CM instructed Afzal Amanullah, principal Home Secretary and Ashish Ranjan Sinha, Director General of Police to inquire the matter and to ensure that the found guilty should be dismissed immediately.Nitish Kumar admitted that there is room for improvement in police department and it would take a long way to win the faith and trust of people.Source: XPress Correspondent
