Patna Univesity Staff Dies Of Hunger

The Employees union blamed that due to suspension of salary for quite some time university employees are helpless. Mr. Yadav had been suffering from disease and needed urgent money. But due to apathetic attitude of VCs nothing could be done, leading to his death. He had no money to have good diagnosis and to buy medicines. The Employees union secretary cum Legislative councellor Usha Sahni has demanded immediate financial help to the family and appropriate compensation. It is well known that there are strike of teaching staffs in the university for more than a week. The students union irrespective of party line has supported the teachers demand but against the strike wanted the govt. to accept the demand. The thursday incident spark their angered and students rampaged the entire area. The VCs car were damaged and eventually police had to resorted to lathicharge to disperse the students.
