Cm Expresses Concern Over Rising Prices

Nitish urged PM to initiate steps to control the rising prices as it is affecting common people. On the one hand prices are rising while Bihar has recorded a significant height in wheat grain production with 3.06 lakh metric tones of wheat procurement in the state till date.In a another letter to Union minister for agriculture and consumer affairs Sharad Pawar, Nitish pointed towards the storage problems in Food Corporation of India (FCI) godowns. In the letter to Pawar, Nitish expressed while the wheat grain production has been risen with the initiatives of state govt. but the storage of wheat has emerged as a big problem due to paucity of godowns at FCI. Nitish urged Pawar to initiate necessary measure in order to make space at FCI godowns.
