Rs. 65 Lakh Looted From Bank In Jharkhand

There were only three staffs in Bank at the time of accident. The manager was not there as he had been to called a air-conditioner mechanic that time. As per the statement to the police and media a short height person asked to open the gate at 10:00 am , saying that he has to get a draft. As the banking hours begins at 10:30 only the sweeper (who was wiping floor then) denied and told him to visit only after 10:30. Then the person called him(sweeper) close near the gate and as he approachs he made the gate open at gun-point. Within seconds six more miscreants enters the bank and looted the cash from Cash-volt Chest on gun-point. Mobile phones of each of the staffs were taken by the goons. This is one of the major robbery in recent times when a bank has been targetted. A FIR has been lodged in this connection wiht Town police station, Deoghar.
