Minister Whips At Transport Deptt. Officials

Transport secretary has ordered for freezing the salary of Mr. Balram Pathak accusing him of making deliberate delay in file processing. There is a sense of shock and insecurity among the transport deptt. staffs. Though some staffs are welcoming the hard steps taken by the newly appointed secretary. On condition of anonymity a senior staff in the department said, "this must be the most corrupt and idle dept., no one here is ready to work, and some officer are just here remain busy making money".   Transport minister Ramanand singh has called a review meeting. The problems in the deptt. will be discussed in the meeting. The recruitment at many vaccant posts of District Transport Officers will also be considered.
