City Admin To Get Back Its Land

The city adminstration is preparing for clearing of 4 acres encroached land in the GayGhat area of the city, spreads near the Hazipur-Patna flyover, well known as Gandhi setu. The govt. need this land for some infrastructure development projects.They have advance gradually beyond due limits.  Encroachment is in high in this area of the city, as there is a dense population around with no public space and narrow roads without proper arrangements for vendors.The encroaching people had had scuffles with state administration earlier too on this issue. On Saturday a throng of people come to the main roads, rising slogans against the move and demanded proper rehabilitation before being ousted from the said land. A local poor welfare agencies, called Jhuggi Jhopdi Sangharsh Samiti has congregate them under its banner and present their demands.
