5 Students Suspended, Puta Ends Strike

Later, in a meeting with university teachers the patna university administration has suspended the five students who were involved in the attack. Four students namely Gautam Kumar(PG, Rural Studies), Kanhaiya Kumar(PG, PMIR), Kumar Gaurav and Deepak Kumar were gheroed and beaten Prof. Amrendra Narayan of Science college. Another student Sanjay Gandhi(LLM, Part-I) has also been suspended  for beating a senior teacher Mr. Suppan Prasad Singh in the Darbhanga house (Vanijya Mahavidyalya) on April 7th. The VC Dr. I.S. Hassan has assured the teachers of proper security arrangements and requested the teachers to back to work. In a meeting with teachers Dr. Surendra Snigdh, controller of examination, PU has announced that all the examination scheduled to be happen on 14th and 18th april will be resheduled on the eve of Ramnavami and Ambedkar Jayanti respective. A communique in this regard will be notified in a day or two.
