Interim Stay On Court Fee Hike, Strike Ends

All the Court works at all level will resume from thursday as the lawyers association decided to work from thursday. Acting Chief Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad with Justice Barin Ghosh and Justice Jaya Nandan Singh, passed an interim order on the PIL filed by an advocate from Muzaffarupur, Sudhir Kumar Ojha, maintaining that hence forth court fee would be realised at the old rate. It is well known that the court fee rates has been risen manifold with effect of the Court Fee (Bihar Amendment) Act 2007.
