Lawyers Strike Enters Second Day

The protesting lawyers are in no mood to take back their demand and they indicated to the possible indefinate strike if their demands are not met.Speaking to reporters the convenor of the co-ordiantion committee of the protesting lawyers in Bihar Yogesh Chandra Verma said that the lawyers are agitated by the statement of minister Gautam Singh while Nitish Kumar is holding talks with the protesting lawyers. In his statement gautam Singh had firmly ruled out the rollback in the court fee in the lagislative assembly.Verma further stressed that the hike in fee is not only related to the lawyers rather the move could affect to common people also as half of the population in Bihar lives below poverty line and the proposed hike in court fee would adversely put more burden on the shoulders of people.
