Patna University Covers Students

While the modalities of the insurance scheme are still being finalised, there is a great enthuasism among students about the scheme. A meagre amount of Rs 10 or 20 would be taken from the students at the time of his admission and he would be treated as covered during his full studentship. Dr. Lal, the vice-chancellor said he has planned to implement this scheme as soon as possible. He assured the students of getting full benefit of the program. PU has also decided to arrange special coaching for general category students preparing for medical, engineering and management entrance tests. Students would be charged nominal fee for this coaching and taught by experienced teachers of PU. The details of this coaching centre have already been finalised.
