Three Students Drowned In Ganges

A group of students from a local coaching institute in Rajiv Nagar get drowned in the strong current on Friday. The group comprising total of eight students out which three could not be save. They were returning back from Diara at Digha Ghat hiring a boat. The body has been later fished out and recognised as Navjit, Sidhu and Rohit. Their body has been handed over to their family, the office of Digha police station informed."It was around 12:30 when we listen some screams and noticed the drowning boys. Before we could manage to reach them only one out of four could be saved", said a boatman at the digha ghat.
