Traffic Congestion In Capital

Water resources department has dug most of the city roads and lanes extending networks of pipeline to supply drinking water. Road construction department, Telephone department and Bridge Corporation has been busy strewing their works. This leaded to congestion of city traffic.Added to woes the increasing traffic has play an active role. According to Dr. Maheswar Sinha, an economist cum social  says "the number of cars has been surprisingly surges to a new height in Patna. This phenomena do not just supports the fact of increase in the buying capacity, instead it speaks about the changes in the social environment since Nitish govt comes into power". Talking to xpress group correspondent S. Amit he stressed that during RJD ruling people did not dare to flaunt despite having money. Alone this dhanteras (a day before Dipawali) there are about 1000 Cars sold in Patna only. One can easily guess the rise in traffic that there are about 30% vehicles of other districts do permanently ply on city roads.
