Ips Natrajan Sent To Jail

He was involved in a attack on D.N.Barai, the then District & Sessio Judge in Bhagalpur. As an Supritendent of Police of Bhagalpur he ordered the policemen to attack the honourable judge in the court premises itself. When some lawyers attempted to rescue the judge, they too were beaten by the men in Khakhi. Knowingly the incident embarked as a resultant of anger by policemen who were quite angry with justice D.N.Barai who ordered Life Imprisonment for a sub-inspector in 1997. Soon after the ruling a dozens of policemen attack the court premises and beaten lawyers and others.  Later a lawyer Subhash Chandra Pandey registered a case of vandalism & violence against the policemen following which the court had issued arrest warrant against then SP A.Natarajan. He has been sent to camp jail in Bhagalpur. At present he is posted as SP in Crime Investigation Department in Jharkhand.
