Scholarship To Two Bihari Students

In addition to the scholarship, Dr Ramgoolam also announced an aid for the development of his ancestral village of Harigaon in Bhojpur district worth  US$ 2.5 lacs. The aid will be utilized for the construction of roads, hospitals and other development  projects in his ancestral village Harigaon. Dr Ramgoolam appreciated the efforts of the state govt for development of Harigaon. He will visit Harigaon on Tuesday to lay down the foundation stone of various state govt projects.Later Dr Ramgoolam addressed a gathering at Gandhi Maidan. Dr Ramgoolam welcomed the thousands of audiences who gathered at Gandhi Maidan to listen Dr Ramgoolam despite cold waves.  Dr Ramgoolam emotionally welcomed the audience by saying  Aap logan ke bichhrey bhai ka pranam. I only want love from here.  Dr Ramgoolam stressed on the installation of  the statue of his father and the first Prime Minister of Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam and further said  he and his family are grateful for installing the statue of his father .
