Hrd Secretary M M Jha Passes Away

In a sudden surprice to everyone the HR secretary Madan Mohan Jha, a 1977 batch IAS passes away after a massive cardiac arrest at his Hardinge Road residence here in the early hours on friday. The news of his sudden demise raced through the academic circuit of bihar like wildfire. Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar visited the noted scholar residence in the first hour itself. This is being seen as a major setback to Nitish govt. as most of the educational reform in the state has been done by the Mr. himself since the new govt. took oath in 2005. "I lost a friend", said the CM Common School System Commission report for Bihar, a unique concept has been a brainchild of Mr. jha. He has been the mentor and instrumental in the idea an effort that would help improve the educational framework of the state. A versatile personality known for his visionary goal & vast knowledge of the educational system helped the state to draw up a plan for universal secondary education involving the private for opening of schools for children.
