Restaurants Raided

The raid was conducted as a joint operation of Excise officials as well as officials from Indian Oil Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum.The raids were conducted at Vanshi Vihar Restaurant and Family Fair Restaurant both at Frazer Road, and Soda Fountain Restaurant, Gandhi Maidan.Despite domestic gas cylinder are prohibited for commercial use, 4 domestic LPG recovered from Vanshi Vihar and 3 from Family Fair. Soda Fountain restaurant could not produce any paper for legal purchase of their gas cylinders.It is reported that the legal actions will be taken against the restaurants in a couple of days.
