No Room For Criminals, 20 Gets Life Imprisonment

In the state it is for the first time that in a single day judgement in different cases has come simultaneously. This may be a co-incidence but the quick judgement by FTC and other courts in recent times has damage the audacity of criminials very much. Honb'le district & session judge in Patna, Sri S.k.Pawar has awarded life imprisonment for 12 accused of the same village and also imposed a fine of Rs. 5000/- on each of them. They were engaged in a dacoity case way back in 2005. On the night of 15 January they together attacked the house of one Vijay Yadav and tried to escape with booty. In the process one of the gangmen tried to snatch the gold chain from the neck of the wife of Vijay Yadav. In the scuffle one dacoit did fire on the wife of Vijay Yadav. The bullet hit an year old child of Vijay yadav who was on the lap of her mother. After the firing they escaped with booty. Sudarshan Roy, Sujit Kumar, Mantu Roy, Lalbabu Roy, Subodh Roy, Suchit Roy, Awadh Roy, Bacchan Roy, Shiv Roy, Ramesh Roy, Barister Roy and Akhilesh Roy are residents of Hathikand Shahpur. One accused Tejan Roy got natural death during the hearing years.
