Recognising the existing and future potential ECR has enlisted Patna Junction among "22 station to be modernised as world class by 2020".     According to govt. sources railways is one of the biggest organisation of the country and running in cushionable profit. Despite of this, patna junction has never been given the level of attention it deserves to be. "It just seems like any other station you may find anywhere. Patna is changing, lifestyle is changing hence it is required to change the "gateway" too. If implemented, the project seems promising and great.
