Cm Seeks Central Govt Help

The situation has gone so much terrible that the state govt cannot fight against Naxalism alone by its own and will need support from the Central govt. Kumar stressed on the need of a CBI like federal agency to counter Naxalism.Kumar added Naxalism is not only limited to certain parts of the state rather, it has spread in other parts of Bihar as well. Several Maoist were nabbed in Patna district. Bihar is vulnerable to naxalites from adjacent Nepal also. They use highly sophisticated and advanced weapon system now a days and despite the best efforts to counter Naxalism, state alone is not able to tackle the deep rooted tentacles of Naxalism, Kumar said.Kumar stressed Central govt to provide support in order to counter insurgency which is taking atleast hundreds of lives every year.XPress Group Correspondent from New Delhi
