Nagina Devi's Nationality Under Scanner

Lok JanShakti Party's MLA from BathNaha, Nagina Devi has been given a second opportunity to prove her citizenship.    On the instruction from central Home Ministry, the state govt. has ordered the district Magistrate of Sitamarhi to form a special court for the hearing of case. 20th september has been fixed and she will have to appear personally there for the hearing.   Suman Kumar, DM, Sitamarhi,  busy making arrangements for the same taking the seriousness of the case says that "we are just following instruction &guidelines strictly that is notified in the letter from the Home ministry and state govt. as well".     "Her mother is of Indian origin while her father belong to Nepal. since the matter is already before the court hence the home ministry should be patient enough instead inking new orders", reacts Mr. Ramvilas Paswan president, Lok JanShakti Party.     According to Nagina Devi herself she was born and brought up in Bihar with her grand mother. She admits that the only fault at her end is that her guardians failure to apply to the local agency that the girl child be given the citizenship of india. It is a simple application to be submitted at the birthtime, and failing which she is witnessing this trouble.    India is my motherland and i will serve my duty for my country where i be a MLA or not, she reacts confidently.source : Kumar Nitin, Sitamarhi
