Patna Police Solves Much Publicized Reshma Alias Kajal Murder Case

On October 31, the dead body of a woman was found from a ditch under Shastrinagar police station which was said to be of Reshama Khatoon and later identified as Kajal. After the recovery of the dead body, opposition parties in the state pointed towards the alleged involvement of JD (U) MLA from Mokama, Anant Singh.With the further investigation in the case the dead body was identified as Kajal and not Reshma Khatoon. Police also discovered during the investigation that it was Anil Sharma who made the last call on Kajal's mobile.According to the reports, Sharma had borrowed nearly Rs. 1 crore from Anant Singh. Sharma masterminded the heinous plan to falsely frame Singh in the murder case to avoid paying back the money.The police investigation revealed the whole story. Kajal who was acquainted with Sharma was employed at a beauty parlor. On October 28, Sharma executed the heinous plan and called Kajal to his under-construction building in Mainpura under Buddha Colony police station. After Kajal arrived at the place, she was drugged and then strangled to death by Sharma and his allies.After the brutal killing of Kajal one of Sharma's ally Qamar Mohsin posed himself as Kajal's brother and spread the news that her sister was raped and murdered by Anant Singh and his men.
