Kharna, Second Day Of Chhath Observed

Devotees took Kheer and Roti as prasad on Thursday evening after a day long fast. After devotee breaks fast, Kheer-Roti is distributed to other people as prasad.Rotary club has distributed puja materials among devotees on Thursday. Local MP Ram Kripal Yadav also distributed Puja materials like coconut, soops etc to among 500 devotees.During the Chhath festival the Unicef will deploy 787 teams throughout the state to prevent infection as large number of people visit state for Chhath Puja being the most popular festival of the state. The Unicef team will be deployed at railway station and bus depots. They will provide polio drops to the children below 5 years of age.
