Dy. Comissioner Attacked In Jharkhand

The attackers used an unique method to attack the victim. Puja Purwar was 'attacked' with a needle attached to a syringe following which she took seriously ill and had to be hospitalised. The incident occurred when Purwar was taking a morning stroll on the campus of her residence.Purwar was hit on the left side of the abdomen, fell unconscious and rushed to hospital at once. A broken needle attached to the syringe has been found unattendent from the DC's residence. Police has taken the syringe under custody and sent it for chemical examination to find out whether it contained poison. Police have also sealed the DC's residence for detailed investigation.Police do not rule out the involvement of Maoists in the attack. Hospital sources reports her being out of danger and all her vital organs are functioning normal.
