Mediamen Attacked, Mla Arrested

 Though the meeting was fixed with appointments over phone and there were no hiccups from the MLA. After giving answers to the mediamen, the goons of the MLA who were 25-30 in numbers taken the correspondents hostage and started to beat. While the ANI camera person Ajay Kumar got encircled by the goons the journalist escaped from the scene and informed correspondents of other news channels through his mobile some of whom were already outside the gate of Legislature premises to meet the MLA. When they together re-enters the gate (along with the Ajay) the goons of the legislature attacked them with lathis and fist after running after them. Some cameramen successfully captured the scene and this is going to prove as enough evidence to put the legislature behind bar. In the attack more than 6 mediapersosns got severe injuries. Cameramen Ajay Kumar Singh has got his hand fractured in the scuffle. His camera were broken and there were innumerable sign of attack on his face and body. A case has been registered with Shastri Nagar police station. With the initial hiccups the police had taken action only after getting green signals from the top police officials as the accused Anant Singh is not just an another MLA. He is a MLA with ruling party and very close (right hand) of Chief minister Nitish Kumar. It is being said that the police did not dare to registered case at the first instance and only after getting orders from the CM himself the police raided the legislature campus and arrested Anant Singh and five of his musclesmen. Till the police came into action most of the goons were escaped.The said MLA (JD-U) of the ruling NDA has become a headache for the chief minister Nitish Kumar who came into power promising for a fearless bihar. Earlier a couple of days ago a local businessman meet the CM and complaints to him of getting threats from Anant Singh. The Chief Minister also directed the IG (Administration) Anil Sinha to ensure an FIR was lodged in the matter and proper action taken be taken without any fear or partiality.
