23 Call Girls Rescued In Purnia

It is well known that Nepali girls are in demand in Bihar for their better physical appearance while girls from bihar is send to Nepal as these girls are easily and cheaply available. Once the girls were get crossed the border it becomes easy for pimps as their identity gets lost and moreover since girls are unknown to new geographical location, their chances to escape from clutches of brothel keepers gets lesser. Bhoomika Vihar, a well known NGO working in Katihar and Kishanganj has been requested to manage things so that these girls could be rehabilated well. Earlier to this NGO, Bhoomika Vihar has done commendable job in handling such cases. "We will try to repatreate these girls to their parents and families", the SP said. "Repatriation is not always possible. As some girls are the child(offsprings) of brothel keepers themselves. Some girls are doing the flesh trade along with their mother and hence don't know their identity. We can extend our support for their rehabilitation only but some were not interested in getting other works as flesh trade outpays them", said director Arun Kumar of Bhoomika Vihar.
