BJP state president Radha Mohan Singh described RJD claim of 'Chetawani Rally' being attended by 30 lakh people as the biggest joke ever. He said most of the persons were reportedly paid to come to Patna and none cared to attend the rally, interestingly muslims also were not seen in the rally. The highest drama of the much cited rally is the pre scheduled end of the rally at 2 pm instead of scheduled at 5 pm.After the first hour of rally, the crowd started moving out of Gandhi Maidan to other places of Patna. The majority of crowd came for sightseeing, claimed BJP state spokesperson Vinod Narain Jha.Shivanand Tiwari, Janata Dal (U) national spokesperson also described the rally as a mega flop. This rally indicates the beginning of the end of Lalu in Bihar for good, Tiwari added. The statement of Shiwanand Tiwari were supported by the Building Construction Minister Monazir Hasan and Minority Welfare Minister Manzar Alam and said the rally only confirmed the popularity of the Nitish government.LJP an ally at the UPA government at the Center, also described the 'Chetawani Rally' as a total failure.Dr. Ranjan Prasad Yadav, LJP's national vice president said the Chetawani rally marked its presence more like a cultural show of Jharkhand artists than a 'warning' for the Bihar government. "Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is the one who should be 'warned' by this rally that Lalu Prasad Yadav's days are over and he is no more the 'messiah of the poor' that he once used to be," Dr. Yadav said.Dr. Ranjan Prasad Yadav after an expenditure of Rs. 50 crore and prescheduled conclusion of the much cited Chetawani rally, Lalu Yadav should now understand that RJD is finished in Bihar once and for all.
