Strike In State Varsity On 30th

This was decided at a meeting of the joint action committee of the Federation of University Teachers’ Associations of Bihar (FUTAB) and  held here under the joint In a meeting presided by Ram Jatan Sinha and K B Sinha in Patna the leaders of various Teacher's Asscociaton has zeroed on to go on strike on 30th this month. In the hour long meeting various demands were discussed and shortlisted. The main demands of the teachers’ federations include withdrawal of new pension scheme, 10 per cent interim relief, age of retirement on a par with central universities and merger of 50 per cent DA with the basic pay. Sanjay Kumar Singh, one of the joint action committee conveners has regret over the government ommission to their demands.
