Administration Tighten Grips Over Lpg And Ration Dealers

When the department sleaths raided one such LPG godown earlier this week they found more than 150 blank cylinders missing from the godowns. The godown has been sealed and has been reffered to petroleum ministry for cancellation of its licence. A FIR has been lodged in the case with Rohtas police.The department of food and consumer goods has intensified its action on complaints received and raided many LPG vendors and PDS distributors. The department secretary S.Shivkumar has ordered for such raids across state and instructed officials to take stern action against accused. A truck load of rice meant for PDS were also seized in Rohtas when it was being deported for black marketing. The said truck was said to be of FCI. When the raiding team ask the godown manager he said the truck was going to distribution vendors. When the sleuth questioned the driver and conductor of the truck, the real matter comes out. A case has been lodged against the godown manage and the driver of the said truck as well.
