Patna All Set To Welcome Dussehra Crowd

Ashok Sudhakar a artisan who has been busy making effigies of Ravana for dussehra for the last one month expressed a sigh of relief through his smile. There are 8 artisan working throughout for last one month at our factory, he said. We do our 100% effort to satisfy our customers and with change in time and technology we do have to change our techniques too, he said. This time we have used flaxes instead of usual clothings meant for  the figurine of Ravana and his family. This is more vibrant and computer is used to made its design.Describing the height of this years Rawan's stand at 65 feet while KumbhaKarna's and Meghanath's at 60 and 55 feet respectively. A minimum of fifty square foot space is required to keep it in standing position while erected, and will be collectively called as Rawans' Lanka. This space of Lanka is all fitted with fireworks but hidden to spark and surprise the audience. A load of fireworks of magnificient qualities and multitude of variant has been used.It is well known that every year the Dussehra Fair of Patna becomes a tale with more crowds every next year breaking the earlier one. The innumerable people visits the capital city with their families and children to have a glimpse of  dussehara celebration at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Special traffic arrangemnent and security covers been arranged by the city administration. Patna DM B.Rajinder is personally monitoring the arrangements at Gandhi Maidan.
