Puja Fevers Rises On Patna Streets

It is well known that Patna has been known for its beautiful pundals and amazing idols of Maa Durga. This is the only festival that engulfs the city completely and city witness maximum number of visitors during the 10 day long puja festival with the last three has special importance. With the ritual practice of Kalash-Sthapan on day one the puja begins and lasted for ten days with call of one of the ten form of Goddess Durga each day. The puja fevers rises with each day and mounts to peak on Ashtami.The all time heart-winning puja pundal of Dakbunglow road is busy to retain its position. Special arrangements of cartoon work being prepared to attract children. The 85-foot high pundal is being made here. Kathmandu's Bodh Mandir, 14-foot idol of Maa Kaali is being made by ShivShankar pundit who has come here from West Bengal. The 500 meter long circle of Gandhi Maidan will get special lighting arrangements to attract the devotees. Some Puja pundals will get idols of "Bharat Mata" too.
