Munna Shukla Granted Bail

A division bench comprising Justice Shiva Kirti Singh and Justice Mahfooz Alam after admitting the appeal filed by Munna Shukla granted bail.The duo were awarded life imprisonment by session judge Ram Shreshtha Rai in the killing of DM Krishnaiya.Former MP Anand Mohan was awarded life sentence in the same case by the session judge Ram Shreshtha Rai.Counsel Kanhaiya Prasad Singh filed the bail plea on behalf of Munna Shukla and Ganesh Prasad Singh on behalf of Shashi Shekhar Thakur.Their counsels urged that their clients were just a part of the mob where DM G Krishnaiya was killed.
