Machhuatoli, Arya Kumar Road, Doctors Colony, Hanuman Nagar, LIC Colony, Patrakar Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Chirayantand, ChandMari Road, Postal Park were the worst hit with over 3 feet of rain waters on roads took their life to standstill. KadamKuan and Nala Road, Fraser Road, Exhibition Road and Boring Road, hitherto not infamous for waterlogging could not be spared this time.Urban development minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey informed. The department is trying hard to pumping -out the water and he is personally supervising the work at all pumping stations. He informed that the Electricity Department has been directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply so that all the pumps could work incessantly.In Commercial centers like Khetan Super Market, Hathwa Market and the famous Jewellary market in Bakerganj is reportedly get heavy loss to property as the rain water enters their showrooms. Some shops running in basements were drown in water upto the roof hence loses everything. Manoj Kumar a local resident who owns a house in Birla Mandir Road in Kadamkuan do run a footware shop on the ground floor said, "this is third time in a row this monsoon only and each time PMC and the CM appeal us to make patient. We had not make him sit on the CM chair to do make statements and appeal. He must resign at once".Movement of trains in PG route has been partially affected on friday. Electronic signalling system were reportedly hampered and manual signalling system has been put into services to retain the movement of trains on the said route. PG tracks at Patna Junction being cleared by pumping out water from the track.
