Private Sectors To Shake Hand With Bsrtc

The idea of having DPR for the extension of Bus Terminals and refurnishing work to the existing depot has been decided. According to official sources at BSRTC the new proposal has been design so that maximum facility could be make available to the commuters without costing too much to department coffer.Ther are more than 60 bus terminus under the BSRTC. Out of which most of them are facing dilapidation. Only patna & Muzaffarpur have witnessed some renovation time to time otherwise rest of them have neither facilities of drinking water nor a single toilet. This is why commuters prefer rail routes in Bihar. Terminal facilities at Ara, Banka, Bhagalpur, BiharSharif, Gaya,Purnia, Munger an d Madhubani are top from the list which has been getting shortlisted to be renovated. The infrastructure and beautification both will be developed by the private parties. The officials are busy readying the format of the tender regarding the issue.Luggage Rooms, Larger Water Sheds, Telephone facilities, Improved modern Toilets, Drinking Water and Parking facilities will be developed at all these terminus. A meeting has been called by commissioner M.M.Singh in the first week of October to give a final shape of the project
