Anti-Encroachment Drive Begin

According to PMC officials the encroachers were noticed both by written and through announcements and only then we have to use force to clear the road. As soon as the PMC team reach the spot hundreds of local stand together and opposes the drive. Before the situation turns to any mishappening more forces had been called and only then the drive could begin.Rana Awadhesh Singh, commissioner of PMC has personally supervise the drive .Earlier the administration shown a humane face and announced that none of hutmens will be disturbed all during monsoon and rain. Committed to its word all the anti-encroachment drive were suspended right before monsoon begin in June. Patna University premises is the next target of the department. There are many permanent structure has been erupted illegally during the all long years. The PMC has already noticed them to get the encroached land cleared on their own.The most embrassing thing is the premises get encroached by the staffs itself. They have already been noticed to remove the outhouses and space made to keep cattles on their own within a week time. Senior vice-president of PU staff union Umesh Prashad Singh has condemned the move and threatens to go on strike if the decision not be withdrawn.
