Lathicharge During Relief Distribution In Motihari

More than half dozen persons has been seriously injured. The incident occured at Padumker Panchayat under Patahi police station, Motihari. The lathicharge work as catalyst to the already angry mob and they forcibly entered the police station and chants slogans against the administration. Seeing the matter going out of control the BDO and SDO reach the scene and appease the mob. They demanded stern action against the ASI K.N. Roy of Patahi police station. Villagers submit a written memorandam to the SDO and demanded action against those involved in irregularities in distribution of relief.
