Vigilance Caught Officer Taking Bribe Print E-mail

The vigilance team on thursday caught two state govt. officers red handed whilt they were taking bribes. The vigilance bureau has two separate complaints about the corrupt official about a week time back, following which the bureau sleauths drag their net and conseqently caught them in two separate operation on thursday. According to ADG of bureau Neelmani the Vigilance has get its fierst success at Hazipur where a Nagar Parishad clerk Ramesh kumar Raman were taking Rs. 500 from one Neelam Devi. The corrupt clerck were not ready to make a genuine death certificate of a relative of Neelam Devi. He blantly negates to execute untill Rs. 500 been given to him as bribe. Exagerrated by the attitude Mrs. Neelam deve contacted bureau officials.
In the second operation carried out in Pokhariya Paswan Tola, a vigilance team led by its DSP, Mritunjay Kumar Choudhary, caught a revenue employee, Aman Pasawn, Navkothi, Begusarai, red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Sushir Kumar, a resident of Pahsara, for mutation and other land-related works.
