PU to celebrate 92nd Foundation Day on October 1

Patna University is all set to celebrate its foundation day on October 1. Patna University is the seventh oldest university in the country which was established on 13th September, 1917. It was recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) in 1956. This year Patna University is celebrating 92nd foundation day.

The celebration ceremony will be organised at Wheeler Senate House at 10.30 a.m on October 1. Governor and Chancellor of the state R L Bhatia will be the chirf guest of the ceremony. The ceremony will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Patna University Prof. Shaym Lal.
