Maharashtra Doctor Dies in Supaul
On Sunday night, a doctor from Maharashtra Dr. Chandrakant Patil died in Kataiya village in Koshi affected Supaul district. Dr. Patil was of 25. Dr. Patil got stuck in lightening who has come to Bihar in the 40 member team who volunteered in several flood affected areas in Bihar.


Dr. Patil was providing medical relief to the flood victims. On Sunday night he was taking rest along with his colleagues in a tent house when the tent was suddenly hit by the lightening. The others received burn while Patil died on the spot.

The body of Dr. Patil was rushed to Patna Medical College Hospital. Dr. Patil was considered as a hero for the sacrifice he has made while serving flood victims of Bihar. Several people turned up outside PMCH to take a glimpse of the hero. Dr Patil’s body was flown to Mumbai. Dr Patil was the only son of Umakant Patil.

Bihar State Health Services Association Coordinator Dr. Ajay Kumar concluded the sudden demise of Dr Patil is a great loss to humanity. Dr Ajay said Dr. Patil deserves the highest civil honor for the sacrifices he has made in his life while doing a great work in Bihar.
