On Sunday, a workshop on Right to Information was organized at the IMA Hall in Patna. The workshop was organized by the Bihar Right to Information (BRTI) Forum. Speaking in the workshop Bihar Information Commission Secretary, S. K. Mishra encouraged the people to use the Right to Information.

On Monday, known film director Prakash Jha handed over a check on Rs. 11 lacs to the family members of Dr. Chandrakant Patil at Dhule, Maharashtra. Dr. Patil died on September 21 by lightening while he was serving to the flood victims in Bihar. Prakash Jha met the family members of Dr. Patil in Maharashtra with a gesture to honour the sacrifices made by the young doctor who volunteered his life to a relief camp in Supaul, one of the severely flood hit districts in North Bihar.
