Budget Is A Cheat With Bihar:Nitish
"A special package for Bihar after bifurcation was included in the Common Minimum Programme of the UPA. It was mentioned in the speech of the President in 2004 and also in the speech of the Union finance minister while presenting his first Budget in UPA regime the same year. We had thought that a concrete decision would be taken in UPA's final Budget before elections. But we are disappointed that nothing has been given to Bihar," Nitish remarked.

Daylong Strike In LIC
All the 22 branches of the Patna division of the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has observe a day long strike on friday. The strike call was given by the LIC Class I officers association.
The officers held the strike in wake of their seven points demand. One of the striking officer said "If management fails to concede our demands, the association will intensify the agitation in days to come," he said. Vice-president Anandi Prasad and joint secretaries Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Kumar, also expressed their grievances.

Convenor of the coordination of the three associations, Yogesh Chandra Verma has claimed success to the bandh. He expressed his anger to the govt.

A gang of four thief flushes out 27 lakh rupees from the main postoffice in Munger on the night of 26 january. The thiefs were quite professional in theif job as the men of Armed forces of state police deputed outside the postoffice did not get    while the episode were going on for about 3 long hours.
The night guard Rajendra Singh were tied and made mouth-shut by force.

Apex Court Signals For Division of State Transport Corp.
The Supreme court of India has given green signal for division of Transport corporation between Bihar and Jharkhand.
In the order the court of Honb'le justice G.Balakrishnan has inked the detailed description with which the process of division has to be completed. The corporation will be divided on the ratio of 65:35 percent.
