Two Nigerian Arrested In Patna

Gandhi maidan police has taken two Nigerian citizen into its custody as the duo were roaming near Gandhi maidan in suspicious condition on friday. The most shocking reality is that none of them have either a passport of visa. The arrested nigerians are saying that their passport and visa has been theft. Moreover when the police inquired them individually there statement mismatches, this has made the case more suspicious and shocking.

Naxal Attacks Train, 1 jawan Killed

A dozen of naxalites attacked the Muzaffarpur bound Bhagalpur Intercity express in broad daylight on thursday. Naxals who were about a dozen in numbers targeted the train escort party in which one jawan was killed on the spot. Naxals also looted 4 rifles and 100 rounds of bullets from the escort party and in the mayhem one women passenger got serious injuries.

Patna has been placed in the list of 20 best city of north India. With getting the 7th rank it beatens Jaipur, Agra and even Gurgaon. Cities like Ranchi, Allahabad, Kota, Bhopal, Raipur and Indore has been placed far behind Patna. The next door city and once summer capital of Bihar i.e. Ranchi could find place at 15th rank. Famous Hindi magazine "India Today" has released this list in its latest edition.The list has been prepared by the help of National Council of Applied Economic Research. Chandigarh tops the list and NOIDA gets 2nd position.

With under the pressure the state govt. has enforced the recommendations of sixth pay commission in the state but the state govt. seems tensed as alone rupees 4000 crores will have to spent only on paying the arrears. Meanwhile under the global and national economic downfall Bihar will get a cut of rupees 1000 crore from the central fund this year. It is well known that state govt. has to spent around 1000 crores this year to fight the Koshi effect out of which about 600 crore alone on the repair work of Koshi barrage.

Dr. Pravin Kumar has been found guilty of Abducting three persons. He is a well known doctor of Patna having a well run Nursing home named 'Sanjivni' near Gayghat in Patna. The doctor's wife Mrs. Rajni Sahu do run a Sajivni welfare society.
The abduction of NGO director Awadesh kumar and his two brothers became a headache for the city police. But fortunately the Patna police recovered the trio safely from Patna. Though Dr. Pravin were successful in escaping, the city police recovered his Indica car.
