Tension grip the entire Raja bazar area on wednesday as a 20 year young boy named Kamal kant was crushed to death by a school bus. The accident took place near Raja Bazar petrol pump when an overspeeding school bus knocked the Kamal's motorcycle from behind. At the time Kamal was driving the bike while his elder brother was sitting behind him.

Challenging the police and administration, a gang of eight dacoit has looted rs. 12 lakh 70 thousand from the staffs of a Car-dealer. Bank draft worth Rs. 22 lakh were also get snatched as they were kept together.
According to statement given to police, at the time of accident two staffs of Ginni Motors, Joginder Singh and Abhimanyu Singh were going on a Indica Car to deposit the Cash and drafts to the local SBI branch in Patliputra Colony.

With a notification from the work department, 8 IAS officers has been transferred. With this effec the Rohtas SP Jitendra Singh Gangwar has been appointed as new DIG to Patna. Purnia DIG Subhash Chandra Singh has been given charge of IG, Homeguard. SP of Darbhanga Sunil Kumar Jha will now shifted to Purnia in the place of Subhas C. Singh. The long awaited Pankaj kr. Darar has been now SP, Darbhanga. The Bagha SP Vikas Vaigha is now Rohtas SP. Danapur ASP Nishant Kr. Tiwari hs been sent to Bagha as SP.

The bureau has written a letter to the Parliamentary Work Department reommended an administrative inquiry into the recruitment of Legislative Council. According to offcials the entire recruitment process in those years has been done keeping the process and protocol at bay. The shortlisting of candidate were done on the basis of money they deposited with "agents".

PATNA: The Delhi bound Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani express has to halt here for about 45 minutes as a woman passenger of bogie no. B-6 complaints of molestation by a co-passenger. The Rail police has registered a case in this regard and arrested the accuses Mr. Samir Jha. He was in full influence of liquour at the time of arrest. He is said to be a resident of Deoghar.

Teacher Shot Dead In Patna

Patna City : A teacher of local KaimaSikoh primary school has been shot dead by some criminals in broad daylight when he was approaching his school in the morning. The criminal who were three in numbers came on a motorcycle from behind and shot at him from very close range. The victim has been identified as Nandkishore alias Nandu (38 yrs).

Inter-state Automobile Theft Gang Busted In a major success the Patna police busted a gang involved in stealing luxury cars and SUVs. The Kotwali police arrested four people from near Veena cinema at Patna junction on friday. The police recovered a total of five luxury vehicles from their possession. The two Tata victa , two Bolero and one Tata Safari recovered, has been stolen in recent times.
