Shibu Soren To Take Oath Today
The seven year history of newly formed state of Jharkhand exlains the pathetic state of politics and the dampening morals of politicians in a republic proud to be largest democracy of the world. The JMM-supremo and MP Shibu soren has finally make his way to the chair of Chief minister of this tribal state. This has been his dream for years better for decades. He is to take oath today as the sixth Chief minister of Jhakhand.

PM, Sonia To Visit On 28th
Prime minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi is to visit the state on 28 of this month to watch the situation of flood in Bihar. The Center seems a bit serious on tuesday, took actions and orders to immediately sent  4 large Choppers, boats and food items. Railway minister Laloo Pd. Yadav and Lok Janshakti Party secretary Ramvilas Paswan has met the Prime minister and requested to rush relief works. The two brand leader of Bihar also met central food minister Sharad pawar who announced to give 5 lakh quintals of grains to the flood victims.

Flood Enters Madhepura : Town To Be Evacuated
As the flood water enters Madhepura town on tuesday and the sudden surge in water level has raised alarm. The Saharasa-Madhepura (NH-106) road link has been completely damaged. All of a sudden the District Magistrate ordered for complete evacuation of town. Fresh reports confirms that 75 inmates of Virpur(the worst hit) Jail is trace-less. Though the havoc could not be gauged exactly unitill watch it live, but one can imagine that the the DM and SP has to migrate to other places. Minister Narendra Narayan Yadav has left the circuit house.

Repeating History 200 yrs. Back : 46 Deaths Confirms
As Koshi is turning making new ways, engulfing villages after village of the Northern Bihar districts touching Nepal. The mighty and highly dangerous Kosi river in north Bihar has broken its embankment to pick up a channel it had abandoned over 200 years ago.
On Tuesday, the flood water enters the Madhepura town and the administration which had been put up on high alert raised the alarm. The entire town is to be evacuated.

All districts of Bihar touching Nepal has been completely engulfed on Monday as the River Koshi got completely mad. By 10am in the morning the Dam/Barrier over Koshi in Nepal could not resist the frequency and the fissure widen to two kms. which was just 400mts. when CM nitish kumar visits the area. Following this the entire Virpur area gets inundated by evening with 4-5 feets of waters all along.  The death toll rose to 36.

Complaints against BDOs Flooded In Janta Darbar
On monday the Nitish Kumar were flooded with complaits against BDOs or Block Development Officers. He was attending the Janta darbar especially scheduled for the punchayat pramukhs (chief). Taken cognizance of the complaints the chief minister ordered the DMs to make sure that the BDOs do their work in tandem with "people's representatives" and "Punchayat Pramukhs". He also favoured proper office for the Pramukhs and a budgetary allocation for that.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar got a great shock when he saw the fury of flood in Supaul, Araria and Madhepura. He was on a aerial survey on sunday. Answering to questions of media after returning from the survey, the CM had nothing to say except "ee barrh nahi, parlay hai"... Stranded crops extended to about 40k hectares of land has been submerged leading to greatest loss to the farmers who depends on agriculture. 12 blocks of Madhepura has been completely inundated and evolve as the worst hit area.

The flood situation in Danapur (30kms.) west of State Capital remained tensed as the river is flowing above danger level. On an approximation about 30 lakhs people has been affected by flood. Most of the village have been completely inundated n 5 to 8 feet of water in different areas. Except the Bihar Cont. Area every where there is water and nothing else. Though villagers were relocated by time they have not enough food stuffs to eat. Moreover, there is shortage of drinking water at the temporary camps organised by district administration in the area.
 
Patna School Closes For Two Days Print E-mail

Schools in Patna has been closed with immediate effect following the order from district administration. In a communique to school undersigned by district magistrate of Patna Jitendra Kumar Sinha, the schools, where waterlogging retains, were said to remain closed for coming two days counted to monday and tuesday. The administration will review the situation and depending on the situation then the closure may extend.
