Seven Burnt To Death As Car Burnt In Sonepur
The accident took place near Gautam Chowk in Bhinik Tola at NH-19 near Hazipur. The seven person were returning after attending a wedding ceremony in Samastipur. As per information the marriage of Manoj Paswan son of Ramji Paswan, resident of Hazipur was held in late night on sunday. The marriage party held at Parmanand pur in Samastipur district. As the rituals completed, around 12 o'clock in midnight 7 of the baratis decided to get back to their place i.e. Hazipur. They took an ambassdor car and were about to reach Hazipur as a truck from the opposite direction run over the car. The truck were fully loaded with trunks of woods badly crushed the car following which the petrol tank of the car bursted and catches fire.
The crushed car did not allow the passengers to get out of the car as gates were shattered. Within minutes all passengers of the car burnt to death. Though both the car and the truck gets inflammation but the driver and conductor the truck manage to escape. Police reached the site in an hour followed by fire brigade, but by then everything was lost. Those who died in the accident were driver Ahmed Hussain, Basant Paswan(38,Hazipur), Sikandar Thakur (18,Hazipur), Putul kumar(19,Patori), Mukesh Roy (22,Samastipur). Two more bodies were remained unidentified till the reports written.
