Teacher arrested for molesting minor Print E-mail

On Friday, a school teacher in Patna was arrested on charges of molesting a class V student.
According to reports the school teacher Sunil Singh was molesting a 12 year old minor girl for many days. Sunil was molested the girl on Thursday and attempted to molest her on Friday as well.

On Friday, a 13 year old school boy Nishant Kumar was reported to be abducted from Birla Colony at Phulwarisharif. Nishant is a class VII student of DAV school. Nishant's father Surendra Kumar is a contractor by profession. Surendra has lodged a case of kidnapping against 3 suspects residing in the same colony.

On Friday following by the meeting of  Shahnaz Hussain with Chief Minister Nitish kumar early this week, the state govt recommended CBI probe into the suicidal death of beautician Shahnaz Hussain's son Sameer. Shahnaz had met with Nitish demanding justice into the suicide of her son.

CM Takes CAG Report Seriously
The state government has come to know about the irregularities in the state expenditures through the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report. The recommendations of CAG will be taken up and the government will take steps to rectify the irregularities, he said.

From the next academic session, the students of Patna University will be covered under a insurance scheme. Under this scheme, students will be given financial help in case of accident or illness. In case of death of a student, the money will be given to the nominee/guardian.
