On Tuesday, armed criminals looted Madhopur Chaturi branch of Central Bank of India in Sitamarhi district in full broad daylight at 11 am. The criminals injured the security guard of the bank as well as two other staves of the bank. Criminals looted 2.97 lacs from tha bank safe.

Fast Track Court Convicts LJP MP
On Tuesday, a fast track court in Begusarai held LJP leader and MP from Balia Surajbhan Singh guilty in a murder case. In January 1992, Rami Singh, a farmer was shot dead in Madhurapur-Purvatola village Begusarai district. The reason behind the killing is reported to be a land dispute.

On Monday, the prime accused Uday Chaudhary in the much known 2006 killing of Satyendra Dubey, a civil engineer managed to escape from the police custody. Uday Chaudhary was brought from Beur jail to produce before the District and Sessions judge at Patna Civil Court. In way he managed to escape from police custody.

PMCH faces tougher times
The inspection report of  Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) by Medical Council of India (MCI) has put it facing tougher times as MCI has directed a scanning of PMCH. In its notice to PMCH, MCI has directed PMCH to streamline its functioning and fill out all the vacancies which are lying pending for so long in one month time.
