Chhapra :The surprise postpondment of Degree part-I examination by Jayprakash Narayan University authorities cost it dear on tuesday as the aggrevated students ransacked the university premises. The students took law into their hand and set the VC's official car on fire. Later the crowd of students demonstrated on the Dakbunglow road and made a jam there.

Doctor Killed In Danapur

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sinha(42) has been murdered in his own home in the medical colony under Khagaol Police station in Danapur. His wife Dr. Sujata Roy was also a doctor and serving in the Khagaol railway hospital. His servant Mantu has been traceless since the incident come into light.

Bank Looted In Gaya

Five armed dacoits looted Rs. 3 lakh from the local Branch of Bank of Baroda in broad-daylight today (july 1st). According to eye witnesses the dacoits were five in numbers and attacked the guard of the bank in the very first hour of operation. There after they burged into the bank premises and made the cashier to give all cash with him.

Girl Commit Suicide In Patna

A 22-year girl commit suicide in the Kadamkuan area in Patna on sunday. Police recovered the hanging body of the girl from the fourth floor of the building located near Maharana Pratap Bhawan on Arya kumar road under Kadamkuan Police station.

Deputy Supritendent of Police Pramod Kumar Sinha has lost his life today(30th june)in Bundu some 65 kms. from Ranchi in Jharkhand. Mr. Sinha along with his subordinates and Constables were returning after conducting raids in the far-flung Naxal influenced Lungtu area.
